Chris Barlow arrived in the States in 2002 from Wollongong, Australia. An avid animal lover from early on, she studied animal care for two years and was a regular volunteer at the RSPCA.

While her career path ultimately led her away from her dream of becoming a veterinarian and into the field of education and academic administration, Chris' special gift with animals stayed with her.

As the principal founder of Aussie Pet Sitter, Chris now puts the same amount of passion and pride and professionalism into caring for animals as she did in her previous life as an educator. Chris is also trained in Pet First Aid & Care with PetTech.
